CUNY Commons vs. Blackboard e-portfolio reflection

I had a great experience making two separate e-portfolios on both the Blackboard Learning Management System as well as on CUNY Academic Commons. This was my first time ever doing so it took me some time to learn the basics of creating both. I think starting up an account on Blackboard Learning Management System was much easier and straight-forward compared to CUNY Academic Commons. I took me a shorter amount of time to get the hang of it. With CUNY Academic Commons, I had to spend more time learning how to create and delete pages, and add a multi media file.

Even though it took me a little longer getting the hang of CUNY Academic Commons, I liked using it more because it offers so much more in terms of customizing my profile the way I want it. It also is much more presentable so I think I can create better marketable e-portfolio with it. The presentation of Blackboard Learning Management System seems bland and does not offer options to express as much creativity. It has less background layouts compared to CUNY Academic Commons as well. I think I will be able to create a great professional portfolio on CUNY Academic Commons that I can carry with me through my professional career.
